What's BMW Account ID for Google Maps?

I am trying to enable the Send to car feature on the https://www.google.com/maps/sendtocar website, when I hit Add a car, it asks for the manufacturer then the Account or Device ID

what should that account ID be?

my BMW ConnectedDrive username?

or


my BMW ConnectedDriver email

or

Some ID that is particular to BMW?

You might be asking why not just use the ConnectedDrive Send to car feature? well that only works from within the app but today I got sent a Google Maps location via email, I couldn't send that to my car since it opens in Google Maps app by default. I then tried entering the coordinates but in the Google maps up it gives you a coordinate like this:

XX°XX'X.X"N XX°XX'XX.X"E

On the Google Maps website, it gives you both the above format and another shorter kind of format which I believe is the one we should enter in our car but I didn't get that from the Google Maps app only the above one...

XX.XXXXXX, 55.456793

The problem with the first line is, in the car after the last digit, it doesn't allow for the decimal point followed by another number so I think the one below is the right one...

now back to the my original question......what should the Account ID be?

I used my ConnectedDrive email address (as registered in the US) and it worked for me.

Thanks, I put my ConnectedDrive email....

I don't see the send to car from neither the Google Maps site nor the Google Maps app on Android...

I'll give it a day maybe it needs to update to realize that I've added my car

This is what I see. Click the "Send to your phone" and it pops up a dialog with Car, Dino's iPhone 7 etc on it. I click "Car," then it allows me to select my M3.

There's a username field there.

For anybody else with the same issue, the above advice worked for me.

I went to connected drive website / my account / my personal data. I opened 'Access data' and saw that the user name field was blank. I edited it and added a username of my choice. I then refreshed the google maps and tried again to 'send to device'. It worked, my car now shows up in the list of devices. Thanks for the help.
