Great write up. Did PCD in 2012. Matt is the best, he ate lunch with us and made the day all that much more fun.

Was just at the PCD a few weeks ago picking up an M235. There was one M4 pickup and his demo M4 was Austin Yellow. It is a very striking color and looks much, much better in person than in photographs. The color has a lot of depth to the metallic and, like many BMW metallic paints, changes color depending on lighting.

Well done. Enjoyed the write up. I hope to get there with my kids and nephew someday for either a delivery or some form of driving school.

Congrats ! Great car and color. I was at the School last week. Saw all m3/4 colors. All look great. My kids did the 2 day teen school and loved it. I have done 2 day school as well. The whole place is an awesome experience and Greenville is awesome!

Very nicely written story about your experience and great review of the new M4! I usually skip over the text and just look at photos on posts of this nature, but it was quite informative. I think I'll go the PCD delivery route whenever I order another new BMW.

Great review! I've been to the PC twice now (both for driving schools). The PC is excellent, and Matt is indeed a great instructor. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

Great writeup man. I usually tend to skip over these posts, but yours kept me engaged.
I had a very similar experience during the M5 driving school with the braking, skidpad, etc......so much fun and I really would like to bring my fiancee back. It's amazing how we REALLY never want to push the pedal through the floor. That type of learning is invaluable.

Very detailed write-up, thanks! My M4 vert is waiting in port for a ship; but I hope to take PCD delivery sometime in September. Your post just increased the anticipation.

I just went to my dealer this afternoon to sign the papers on my SO M4 ED in Sept.
Saw this exact color in the dealership. I had seen it last Jan at the Detroit auto show, but it looked ever better in person. Just spectacular. My favorite color - just didnt have the balls to get it. Mine were just big enough for the orange, not the yellow. |
