K&N filter recharge

I was planning on following this process for k&n filters recharge:

Cleaner
-spray a bunch of Cleaner on both sides of filter.. let sit 10 min
-Run filter under faucet warm water from clean side to the dirty side
-shake dry, let dry

Oil : 2-3 hours before install
oil filter ON SIDE AIR COMES IN
-let dry for a couple of hours and wipe away excess oil, adding oil where absorbed and turned white intermittently
–put in ziplock bags

I read the instructions and they say to touch up the both sides with oil, but wasn’t sure if that would be excessive.

If I spray both sides won’t it oversaturate it? Or do you spray the one side and it makes it through to the other side and then you just touch up where there is no solid red showing?

Thx

On 2/26/24, you asked the exact same question (looks like you asked it again in March and now April). Is there something specific you’re looking for? Below is a link to your first thread from 2/26:
