Question

Has anyone completed a pinion seal DIY, or know how much an indy would charge?

Looking to do this job myself but don't know if the unique, required tools to replace the differential pinion seal makes it worth it.

FCPEuro also sells a OE replacement pinion seal that is supposedly an upgrade to the OEM one.

BMW Differential Pinion Seal - Corteco 33121213949

An upgraded pinion seal option for TYP210 and TYP215 differentials, offers better sealing properties with a longer service life when compared to a Genuine seal.

Anyone use this before?
