Bad deal, as you should be $500 above invoice exclusive of incentives. That's why it's best in the future to agree to these type of terms in September/October, order the vehicle so when it's time to take delivery in November the dealership can't inflate their profit by the holiday cash/loyalty as then your 'out the door' price would be $68,995. I have this type of deal for my upcoming X5M as agreed upon price is $1,000 below invoice exclusive of incentives, as of November I'll be $3,000 under invoice, and if the $3,000 credit (2017 models has this) in December is good for 2018, then I'll be $6,000 under invoice.

It was a typo, meant exclusive of incentives.

That's a great deal. I didn't know you can get holiday credit on 2018 orders. What does it take to qualify for the $3,000 holiday credit?

I understand how you got from 78,000 to 73,000 with the discounts you mentioned like holiday and loyalty etc.
But how did you get from 73,995 to 68,995 final price? What am I missing? Thanks in advance

His $73,995 negotiated price is before incentives. Subtract his $5K in incentives yields $68,995. That's a solid deal.
