Any idea of the cost for individual interior?

After things settle down a bit with the new orders, I suspect they will open up more individual colors, but if it's not on the pre-selected list, the cost is usually $5,000. Your CA would have to to check with BMW NA to see if they would allow Space Grey.

It looks exactly like silk. Has more yellowish and even green undertones in certain light. It's a very luxury color. Not appropriate for a sportscar IMO, but obviously personal taste.

Sadly while at the M Studio in Munich recently, I heard that individual leather was not available until mid next year in the US due to our phenomenal DOT regulations and air bag certification. I am unclear as to whether this is only for the unique individual crosshatch leather I saw at the M Studio (very very cool!) or for all individual leather.

+1
I saw an M6 and M6GC at my local dealer in SMB, and that color was just amazing.
So much depth..
I hope they will maybe offer it with the comp package when it comes out.

It was like $1800 or something if you pick from the standard options (nutmeg, cohiba, opal, gold brown, amaro brown), otherwise $$$. There's a thread with the exact pricing for the "check the box" colors but I won't be able to search until later.

You can see the interior and exterior colors from the standard palette here - click the "individual" tab

So effin' pissed it, or any red for that matter, is unavailable for this car. MW was my second choice. I simply can't believe an M car cannot currently be purchased in red, this is a first I think in history.

BTW you need to update your signature it still says YMB :P
1m was also not available in red.

Perhaps not the f10 M5.

Apparently bmw and other manufacturers have decided orange/red is the new red.

I believe Melbourne red is the only red available

I love the pictures of older cars that look like they were snapped at random as part of their catalogue.

Also the Ferrari Red... a Porsche GT Silver would look outstanding on the new M3!

Does anyone else find it funny that BMW has a "Ferrari Red"? I'm surprised they didn't call it "Race Red" (What Ferrari's "Rosso Corsa" translates to in English, the color they're most famous for and appears to be most like the one pictured. Rosso Scuderia has more of an orangish hue) It just seems a little weird they would call it that when Ferrari is owned by the Fiat-Chrysler Group...

TB M4 would be my choice for the 1950 option

If I went all out if get a Fire Orange or Imola Red M4. If I'm paying 5k I would truly want it to be individual and unique.

I would never pay 5k for a color like Estoril that is on most 3 and 4 series out there. I'm not paying that much to blend in no matter how much I love the blue lol.

I'm still not very excited about the "check-the-box" individual colors, TBH. Two browns, two dark-blue/blacks and moonstone (prob my favorite of the bunch.. maybe AZB it's close lol). I'm really considering going balls out and doing full blown $5k for Techno Violet for the F80. I just don't know :/

Just as a clarification, TB and the other checkthebox options are really $1400 if you were going to get metallic instead; i.e., Mineral Grey or White are a $550 option so the step up to TB would be $1400 additional
