Individual Color pricing

Hey guys,

I have an F80 on order currently in Mineral grey. Been thinking alot lately about getting San Marino blue instead. I spoke with my dealer and he stated that for "standard" individual colors it is 1950 additional in price but San Marino is obviously not a "standard" Ind. color. They have no idea what the cost is which seems odd to me and said that they will let me know but that was 2 weeks ago.

Just curious as to what you all paid for your Individual paint optioned F80's? Thanks in advance.

$5,000 is pretty standard although I had spoke to a couple dealers who quoted $5200, ultimately paid $5k

If a color has not been done befor the first I think it is higher, but SMB had been done so expect to be $5k

Maybe my dealer was bullshitting me, maybe it's because I'm in Switzerland, but my dealer told me some of his clients paid up to 15k for it :|

Im in the uae and the dealer charged me 5k for a color that has never been done before

Is a standard individual one of the 3 or 4 extras that they show on the configurator? None of those are all that exciting. So otherwise anything more is pretty much an extra 5k?

Semi-individual (TB, AB, CQ, etc...) ~$2k
Individual (SMB, Ferrari Red, LSB, etc..) ~$5k
Individual w/ research (something BMW has never done) $7k+
Super-special individual (Pure Metal Silver, others) $10k+

Pricing can vary by country.

Yes, those are the "semi" Individual or "standard" Individual colors.

In the UK you have the 4 semi individual colours at £1200

Then you have other colours such as San Marino that are £1900ish

Then you have fully individual colours such as Java green, fire orange etc at £3600.

How much extra lead time is needed for an Individual color?

We're considering replacing my wife's 2011 335is Coupe with a 2018 Le Mans Blue M3 for Euro Delivery in May 2018 and I'm just gathering as much info as possible in advance.

RowanBuds has an Individual Le Mans Blue 2015 M3 and in his blog he indicated that he ordered in December 2014 for a May 2015 Euro Delivery. It seems like this would just be a duplication of that time frame, but I'm looking for input from others who have gone this Individual route.

Hate to break this to you but the information given to prospective orderers last year was that Le Mans was no longer available.

As early as possible. That's my best advice on this topic being I missed my choice #1 solely due to timing.

My goodness, 5000 dollars for a paint? Not for me....I might just get a no charge AW next time and wrap it. Save money on paint and clear bra. Lol, i am cheap fxxk...haha

Well as luck would have it, rolling into the dealer today they had just got in a tanzanite over sonoma m3 and I fell in love. Canceled my order and bought this gem. Will take better pics on Saturday when I take delivery
