Lakeridge auto Gallery Mosport event?

Is anyone planning on attending the Mosport track day on July 25? I did the event last year and it was pretty good.

Would love to go. How much is it? I still haven't had time to grab some pads and r-comps.

$490 and it includes both tracks and ride alongs with instructors which I found very helpful. I went with stock pads and was fine but maybe this time I'll need better pads on the big track.

How fast do they let you go? Is there different level groups?
I did a Porsche day once and they had a lead car that set the pace. Wasnt good if you're intermediate or above.

Last year they only had the small technical track so the fastest you could go before you had to brake was maybe 120ish. They didn't say anything about a speed limit but it may be different with the bigger faster track. They did have beginner and intermediate groups that went on the track at different times. Here is a link to a video of the event:

Where did you get your track pads and fluid?

If you read carefully, you'll see that only the GP track is used for cars while the DDT track is for motorcycles.

I'm gonna pass. Looks like too much of instructions. I prefer a simple lapping day.

That's what my friend who's a manager at one of the Lakeridge dealers told me.

Are you doing anything to your car to get it ready for the track?

I've already done a good amount of track prep this year,. got the essentials: pfc08 pads, endless rf650 fluid, ground control camber plates, nt01 on apex sm-10.

You planning to do anything?

Just saw this sorry. You were in the San Marino blue m3 right? Heard you had some issues with a bad shift. Is your car alright?

The pads are from Perry auto in Quebec and fluid is from Paragon competition in Vaughan.

Hey man,

Car is fine but it was a close one. Loser track coach money shifted my car and almost blew up my engine. Dealership was amazing and fixed the issue. Wont be letting any of these losers drive my car ever again.
