After driving and knowing what a blast the 1M it is to drive, this new M3 will be no different.

I was really hoping to not like this ride so I wouldn't have to go spending money again, but dang that sedan is money. I'll pray the drive reviews are bad so I can save my pennies until the comp package comes out.

...yeah right.
Troll of the century! Burn him!

If this were true, though, I'd be interested in this car again.

I will say, the M4 does look a lot better in these pics than I thought. But as of right now, I'd say YMB M3 all the way for me.

I am not trying to bash people or anything, but when it comes to the whole turbo/electrical steering debate, I don't think people should be allowed to speak (hypothetically obviously!). If you don't own the current V8, your opinion is as good as anyone else's, and you may as well say something that is completely untrue. There are obviously still people who own the current M3 and they like the direction the new car is taking and that's fine, but if you were to filter those responses in all the forum threads here and consider only the M3 owners, there'd be a 50-50% split, if not more would be in favor of the V8.

I also remember seeing a lot of these "my next car is M3" people in the E9X forum in the past, a lot of ideas, dreams, and a lot of them ended up in 135s and 335s and started creating 335 vs M3 threads. It's one thing to say it and another to actually take the keys. Just saying
By far the biggest BS in this thread. Look at just this thread alone and see how many people have E9x M3 in their sigs. Just leave if you already don't like the car without even seeing it, yet alone driving it.

I'm in the minority here, but I prefer the M4. I'm curious on the tire and wheel sizes and am wondering if I can transfer my TE37s over to the new model from my E90 M3.

I'm getting another M3 but you guys aren't giving the M4 enough love, it looks great! I'd take it if I could, for the rear end design alone, love the trunk lid and taper of the rear quarter of the car and skinny light cluster. Car looks so flat and wide, whereas the M3 is superchunk, in a good way. The 4 is svelte but with some muscle tone.

BTW, looks like someone at BMWBlog broke the Dec. 12th embargo because even they don't have the images up yet, papa BMW is not going to be happy about that.

wow that looks amazing.

That interior is EXACTLY what I want in my M235i. Oyster/Black interior with carbon fiber!

Too bad Oyster/Black is not a color option

YMB looks surprisingly good! Austin actually looks kinda dissapointing, I don't know why but it doesn't have the flair I expected.

Exterior looks good, minus the rear diffuser area (just looks odd).

Seats look fantastic, minus the hideous badge.

Still leaning towards a switch to a 991, unless the M4 test drive blows me away.
