So many comments about the wheels...
I would rather comment about the impressive performances that this car is capable! A real focus from BMW about driving dynamics! And this is just the beginning, as M2 will follow, but also the CSL hardcore versions The goal of this car was to be super fast on track. So the comparisons with Civics are pointless! |

People that will actually buy the car are probably not interested in the looks. It's not meant for trips to the grocery store.

So still very curious... why a custom coilover kit vs a further advanced adap suspension?
Perhaps if comfort is to be sacrificed, all out the answer may be a completely fixed suspension... personally I prefer passive suspensions. |

Perhaps true; however, it'll likely be going there, regardless. After all, it has a trunk, doesn't it? Plus, if the rear seats fold down I'll bet there's enough room for some two bu fers and Sacrete. |

Why is that? Whoever would spend over 140K EUR on an ugly car? I don't think I'm in the minority if I say I would not do that.

What an impressive car. Price tag will probably be ~$150K, which is in the range of some real nice whips both for track and flex, but still a very tempting vehicle.

Totally agree. I get that it's a performance car and is amazing at that...but for the money there is no way I'd buy this hideous creature. So many other cars that have both design and function. The F80 is so beautiful and this just looks tricked out regardless of what the intention was.

It's great to come back and read this thread, now that the car has been out for more than a year. Some good laughs in here, and a few things that were unfortunately proven correct.

2016 BMW M4 GTS - Already SOLD!
Photograph back in January 2017 a 2016 BMW M4 GTS. Already SOLD at BMW of Southampton, NY.
Man that rear wing was solidly attached on the trunk. He was a beast! Whoever has it I hope they enjoyed it. |
