Back at VIR again!

Ran a 2:07 lap, with an overall virtual lap of 2:05:59

Much more comfortable with the car, but I didnt realize that the brake pads get eaten so quickly.

Never once did I feel unsafe at these speeds, I had a blast!

I love me some VIR. Your lap looked pretty clean. You go often?

Only about twice a year, sometimes 3 times a year if I'm lucky.

Nice run. I'm assuming you're on stock tires.

Nice looking lap! It was great meeting you this weekend at VIR, and I'm really happy you represented the GTS so well. Pat was disappointed he had to bring his M2 instead, but we both enjoyed seeing you whip everybody out on track!

Thanks!
I wish I had more seat time, 2-3 times a year ain't gonna cut !
Car is far more capable than my times for sure. One guy I know ran 2:01s with RE71R tires! Now that's fast!

Your 2:07 time is prodigious! I'm highly suspicious anybody ran 2:01 with RE71R tires. That's faster than any GT3RS I've ever seen. Maybe if it's a pro, but that's just hard to fathom for a seasoned enthusiast on any DOT tires (Not even Pat!). The GTS doesn't have the Vmax on the back straight for that kind of time, but if it did that 2:01...these cars would be selling for $200k like Europe, so I pray I'm wrong.

Pat said he's gonna charge you $100 each time you mention his name on social media. Pats trying to stay off the grid!!

Haha!!

All things aside, that guy with the Ariel Atom did 1:59 in a brand new AMG GTR a few months ago, so I bet the M4 GTS can probably achieve 2:03/4 at the very least

That speed through the esses is chilling. He takes that and turn 1 faster than me, but otherwise I can handle him. He's got balls the size of...I don't know what!

You think entering at 140 mph is crazy.. take a look at this ZR1 touch 160mph in the esses!
