Individual Request for Interlagos Blue Denied

I'm hoping this is not true, and perhaps the dealership didn't try hard enough, but I wanted to order an Individual Interlagos Blue Metallic M4, and the dealer said that BMW will not use that color anymore. Anyone have insight to this? They offered San Marino Blue as an option, which is indeed a nice color, but I want Interlagos!

Can't go wrong with SMB or Avus Blue

I had an interlagos blue M coupe, and that paint was very different than any of my other BMW's. Much softer and non-metallic. Not sure if the different paint process has anything to do with it or not.

Yeah I'm a bit boring, as my last 2 E92's have been Interlagos. It's my favorite BMW color!

Well I'm hoping a different might have some more pull.... Perhaps this dealer just didn't talk to the right people..

Call another dealer. I can get you the contact info of my dealer if you PM me. (It wouldn't be the first time they got a car for a person in FL due to the dealers in FL.) Be warned that they will probably ask for a high deposit for an Individual color. I pick up my Individual color Nov 6th, so it isn't a factory issue.

I was denied Interlagos Blue as well. My denial just came in today to my SA. I'm pretty sad about it. They suggested San Marino but thats not so individual anymore with all the people ordering it not worth 5k anymore.

Agreed on San Marino.... Just doesn't seem too individual anymore.... Hopefully a different dealer can pull some strings!

Might just be Interlagos Blue being added to the "no" list then. If so that sucks.

Did the dealer just assume that BMW will not do Interlagos Blue because the color is no longer used or was that from BMW Individual itself?

They said it was denied when they inquired with the Individual Dept.

My CA sent me the e-mail directly from BMW saying they wouldn't do it. He's very big on individual orders as he has the Java Green M3. I don't think they are playing him.

It will be denied. I got denied. Was adding it to the list of Blues you won't be able to get.

Well looks like I'll be rethinking getting an M4, as it's the only color I want....

LeMans isn't a bad choice and it's decently close. I had it on my E92. There are already a few LeMans F80 Sedans but I have not seen a coupe..
