In some respects I feel as though the interior is dated, but I love the exterior.
If you want a MT I would order this generation. Personally I wouldn't order the next gen until at least a coupe of years into the life cycle.

If its tru that the next gen is the beginning of AWD and no manual then this gen is 100% the way to go. I personally dont have a desire to chase a faster car then the current gen. I just want something that is more fun to drive.

Finally got round to taking out an M3 with the ultimate package.

I really liked it, but man with those 20” wheels you felt every bump.

Try to lower the tire pressure (trial and error) to see if it makes any difference. 35 square setup works to my liking and comfort.

I may wait for the next gen as I can’t see them not having a MT. XDrive may only be an option with rear wheel still being offered.

I thought I read that the rumors had MT still available on the next gen?

Just switched from a C63AMG S with all the bells and whistles to a M4 and I can say that the Mercedes had everything, much nicer interior overall, way more tech and in the end... I used and appreciated none of it.

I appreciate the simplicity of the M4's interior. It's simple and timeless and has everything that you would use and nothing else.

I hope they keep it simple with the G series.

Lol, I hear you man. Keep thinking about trying the c63 but can't bring myself to do so even as a lease.

Amazing car... but not necessarily a driver's car. I have both for the next month! it's running going between the two... although the C63 has winters on it right now and I can't touch the throttle without smelling them burn.
