black exhaust tips for m4- where to get?
Hi guys and girls,
New owner of a bmw m3 with some m performance carbon goodies. Looking for black exhaust tips. Not looking to spend a lot but wondering what options are out there. Not looking for full exhaust really just the tips for esthetics. If anyone is from canada and knows a source that be even better. Montreal local here. cheers, |

If you own an M3, why are you looking for exhaust tips for an M4?

I took mine off, brought them to a powdercoating place, and had them done for $40.

The Vorsteiner tips are larger... They are 90MM vs 73MM and adjustable so they will stick out farther. I have the rkp diffuser, which looks amazing by the way, and the stock tips are very hidden, so when my tips come in this coming week, we will see how they look.

The next best options are the IND tips or Vorsteiner. Cyba is also another future prospect for those interested in replacing the tips only. |

I don't know if powder coating will hold up with temperatures.
A client of mine had me remove his exhaust tips which were slip on, for his F10 M5 and we got them powder coated. Only last a few thousand miles before the finish was melting. I forgot the name of the process off hand but I would recommend to ask a facility before spending your money on that process. |

I did the same thing, mine turned out great $8.00 and about an hour of my time. Everyone who knows my car thinks I bought some high dollar tip until I tell them I did it myself, have not found anyone who doesn't like them yet.
