Daytona Violet Metallic F80 M3

the color is absolutely worth it! one or two in the world and it will make this car much more valuable than other M3s when it is re-sold.

Love it!! Gorgeous color but the brake calipers need to be a different color.

I do. yes.. rather than 1 of say... 3000.. it becomes 1 of 1 or 1 of 2 or 3.

There are plenty of fans of Daytona Violet and also Techno Violet out there that would 1) kill for this 2) don't have the time or the inclination to buy a car through the Individual program. I don't think the owner will recover their 5K back in several years... of course..

I actually would say I think I prefer this car over the way an E36 M3 looked in the same color

Also rather unique that this is on an M3 Sedan and not an M4 because the original color was on coupes only IIRC

My car is species similar except i have 19s and no individual paint.
I like the 18s but they look a bit awkward on the car. Would have been nice to see this design in 19s.
No offense but that color nor any others BMW offers look worthy of the price especially when you see the orange peel and the general lack of quality in the paint.
Other than that all the car needs now is all the M performance parts and will look good.

Personally, with this color, I would have gone with Gold Brown interior. Now that would have been my dream F80. HK and LED as the only option would also be perfect

David plans on putting together a thread here soon and posting up some pics etc.. David has some history with Daytona hence why he got it. Be looking for a post soon from David! As far as not being able to get techno or any other color. I would not say you can't get any color to be honest. David seems to be able to pull off some miracles in the past. Daytona was shut down for years and David was able to get the color done. Might be worth a shot to hit him up for your indiv orders

I contacted David back in the fall and asked about Techno Violet for my order and he said he tried for his own order and was denied, so unless BMW Individual has had a change of mind, I wouldn't count on it being done.

I love purple and have a fair number of shades in my closet but have never owned a purple car before. Looks outstanding! 6MT as well. Doesn't get any better!
