Moved to Europe, is drilling holes my only option?

Hey guys, it has been a while! I brought my F80 to Germany and will have to install plates soon. I had the tow-hook bracket back home, does anybody know of a solution to mount plates without drilling holes?

I have seen some brackets that drill to the underside of the bumper to make it less obvious upon removal. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Use double sided tape. Euro plates are much nicer looking compared to the ugly shape that we have here.

Do what I did...put some vinyl wrap on the bumper (I used 3M carbon fiber) a bit larger than the plate. Then use 3M mounting tape to put the plate on the vinyl wrap. Will NOT come off without prying. Pic for reference

I already have XPEL so i will probably just stick it straight on there. But in order for me to register my car, they say it has to be screwed into the bumper. I wonder if I should get a plate pount, tape it onto the car, then screw the plate into that.

Kudos on your car, that color combo with the lip looks great.

Thanks! I think the matching color grill surrounds make a real difference versus the typical black.

Do they actually visually inspect it? If so then mounting the bracket with tape may be best...but in Belgium no one actually looked at the plate. I was also pulled over once and they didn't say anything about the plate.
