Not to mention if the previous owner was curbing wheels and adding bumper dings s/he was potentially negligent in other areas (like proper warm up of engine before driving hard, trying to avoid big potholes). There is also a service history gap.
That particular example was just not a good one but the idea of a higher miles and lower cost car is worthy to pursue, I think |
