Frequency Intelligent EVO Muffler + Dinan Mid Pipe

Yesterday, we installed a FI Axle Back to the Dinan midpipe on a customer's car.

This set up retains primary and secondary catalytic convertors, and is one of the best sounding options for those interested in refraining from cat-less systems.

The sound created by the FI and Dinan combo is a very deep and clean that is plenty loud for most people.

Installation is similar to MPE, cutting after the secondary cats is required. FI and Dinan bolt up together with no issues or cutting!

Video attached below, please let us know your thoughts.

Mods featured on the car in the video include:

- Frequency Intelligent EVO muffler w/Carbon Fiber 98mm tips
- Mode Carbon Trophy R2 Diffuser
- Mode Carbon [M4 Style] Spoiler
- Eibach Springs
- Vorsteiner VFF 103 in 20" Carbon Graphite
- IND Cosmetic Package

Wow, this was one of the questions I had when I saw dinan released their midpipes. Good to know FI and Dinan bolt up together with no issues. Could you shoot me a PM regarding a dinan midpipe install? Curious, I've already got the FI axle back.

Forgot to comment back but had this setup done by AutoTalent. Great sounding setup. Smooth and deep at low RPMs. Screams at higher RPMs. Sounds deeper in person than in the video.

Happen to have any videos? Especially some drive by sounds to get a sense of volume?

Best if you PM Justin or Golan at AutoTalent. They hooked me up with this setup.

This was super helpful. Thanks! Having the toughest time trying to decide between the FI and Remus rear, axle back sections to pair with an AA mid pipe. Do you think the volume with the valves closed is noticeably louder and better sounding than stock? It seems like this might be the case based on some of the other videos, and this would be something I would prefer (i.e. I want a volume increase with valves closed as well).

No problem! Actually, ever since I had this setup, I had my valves unplugged so the flaps stayed open the whole time.

Others may need to chime in on their experience with valves closed. I know that as long as you change the axle back, the tone will definitely change. I'm sure if you paired any one of those axle back exhausts with the AA midpipe, it will definitely be louder still even with the valves closed.

I would say valves closed it's the same level as stock, you really can't hear much difference inside the cabin.

I know this from riding in lewz4's M4 all the time. Valves open you can really hear the car open up, but valves closed it's silent.

Did you end up deciding on your setup? Thinking of the AA midpipe with the FI rear. If you did get either one I'd love to hear it. Just hoping it won't be too much drone with an AA midpipe.

Thanks for the video emyrl.
