Here you go folks, the Canadian version for the M4 LCI. Nothing for M3 as expected.

The LCI press release said the adaptive LED headlights were standard. This pricing guide disagrees ...

For MY17 the 493 was standard in the build. In the left side of the trunk, you have that tray with the cargo net and the 12v power socket just above it. You also got the D ring tie down points on the trunk floor, and the 6 point cargo net for the trunk floor.

Given that they lumped it into the premium package now I would assume the contents would be the same.

Still shows the carbon package deleting the heated steering wheel. So you get the stock wheel with no heating element

I did a quick build comparison between my current MY17 and the new LCI. The same car in LCI would cost $800 more. I'm sure others will also do a comparison

Changes for me would be the LED tails - looks nice
Idrive 6 - I have already coded my id5 with the id6 tiles.
New seat logo - meh again, my car interior is SS so I prefer the current silver ones as opposed to a back logo.
New head lights - looks nice, call me crazy but I prefer the current 552 LED design.
Dash stitch - I have full leather so irrelevant to me.
Electroplating - nice touch.

While the LCI is a nice refresh, it's not giving me anything more I need over my current build. I'm glad I didn't wait for the LCI and miss out on driving it for the past 6 months. I got my car July 2016.

Curious what others think.

This is the Canadian ordering guide, and the heated steering wheel is standard in Canada.

I have to assume that the comment in the Carbon package is a carry over mistake from the days when the Carbon Package included the M-Performance alcantara steering wheel that did not have the heating elements.

@2kaccordocoupe here ordered the carbon package after they took away the m performance steering wheel from the package and his car did not come with heated steering wheel option.

Yes, I remember reading that. I can only assume that this is a glitch in the ordering system since there is no technical reason that I can see to remove the heated steering wheel option with this cosmetics package. I am still of the opinion that it is a left over from the time the MP steering wheel was part of the package.

You might have your years confused here.

MY2017 ends production in Feb-2017
MY2018 starts production in Mar-2017

Is the ordering guide out for the MY2018 M3?

I see it listed at the top but the guide only has info for the M4.

Does the MY2018 M3 start production in March as well?

So far, everything tends to indicate that the F80 M3 will only restart production in July-2017 (as a MY2018 for North America).

The end of the F80's life is going to be really frustrating with not nearly enough allocations to go around. It's very possible that MY2018 will be the last model year for the M3 since it doesn't make much sense to run MY2019 for only ~4 months from July to October 2018.

That can't be true, so the F80 will only have had 15,16,17 and 18 model years before total redesign?

The F80 is only produced as long as the F30 it is based on. End of production for the F80 generation is scheduled for October 2018.

I see, and that will be model year 2019?
