I'm not going to lie, it was still painful letting the M3 go. I really loved that car, particularly with the color combo. I just wasn't driving it enough to justify keeping it with the used market on these things being so bad these days. It was just sitting there. The Turbo S will replace the M3 and the 997 eventually as well. Less cars, more time actually driving what I have.
Not much to say about the Turbo S yet. The weather was terrible for 5 days immediately after I got it, and now it's at the detailing place getting corrected, coated, and more PPF installed.

That E63S looks so damn good. It loses the dumpy butt that the C63 has.
Sold my first F80 in August of 2016... Picked up a Jeep GC SRT8(wife) and a 2017 Camaro SS. Wanted to try something fun and different... Baby was coming up, so I got a Golf R. I ended up keeping the Camaro for about six months before I realized that I only drove it about a 100 miles in that time so I sold that and ordered a 2018 F80. Now the Golf is sitting and I'll probably sell that this spring. I now alternate between my truck and my F80.

I've been thinking of getting rid of the F82 lately....but going to something more practical....looking at either a 2018 Tacoma TRD-Pro, or a 2018 Ram 1500 Sport that's been lifted (both brand new).
I love my M4, and it's been a phenomenal car the past 2+ years (2016 model), but I'm thinking of something practical, like a truck. It will probably pain me to unload the M4, but after 2 years, I'm getting a little bored with it. Patrick |

I'm looking to add one to the collection as the long term keeper some day, before they are too scarce at the current price.

I first had F80 M3 and then traded it for M4 convertible and then now I am driving M4 GTS. I have tried to buy something else whenever I had a chance but I couldn't find anything better than M3/4s. The funny thing is that those three Ms I have driven have its own character and really enjoyed each of them. GTS is the most satusfactory one of M3/4s though.

As for my M3, it gives it a nice contrast to jump into it after driving the truck. But I am thinking of selling it and picking up an E92 M3 or a gt350. I have even looked at an s2000 or a new Miata supercharged for some back road fun. But if I can't make up my mind I will just keep the f80 for the long run. Not an easy decision for me, but those would be one of my next cars if I sold the f80. |

Yeah, I have given this some real thought. For what I would pay for a nice set of HRE wheels and a good set of tires for my f80, i could buy a supercharger and suspension installed for the ND miata. And I would not be afraid to break something and pay for a replacement part.

Hey so, is the F-Type SVR really a ~121mph trap speed car? for $122k +? and it weights 3800lb?
That's way too much weight and not enough acceleration potential, for my tastes.. |
