Nick! I love your videos and I love people standing up for themselves on social media. Props to you and welcome to the BMW club!
My fav part was how you read off the troll comments via your video and how you responded to it. That's priceless. Please make more videos for us! dL |

Look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Sakhir Orange Color. Like you, I wasnt blown away by any of the colors, but narrowed them down to Orange and Black. At the end of the day, the Black just didnt look different enough from a 435i so I went with SO. Enjoy the car.

Congrats! That looks like BMW Bridgeport!
Keeping my fingers crossed for you man. Although BMW aren't exactly known for their reliable products at launch. |

pretty consistent with his 991 video comments of "at the limit" meaning going fairly fast on the on-ramp....oh btw, that is nowhere near the limit. welcome to bimmerpost! |

I've gone from a 997 turbo -> 991 C2S PDK -> 991 C4S Cab 7MT -> F80 M3 (with a couple of e92s in between, etc)
I didn't find the 991 to feel hugely smaller from a responsiveness point of view than the F80. I do find the F80 feels a lot larger from a parking and placement point of view. |

Never heard of your story until today, but I did check out the Jalopnik story they wrote. It's great that you finally got out of that terrible 911.
Sorry to hear you a couple small issues with the airbag light and the signal noise when stopping. It sounds like ground loop noise may be your issue. I listened closely to my F80 and think I have this going on in my vehicle as well. I will most likely have BMW look into it. |

LOL, he lives in Connecticut, didn't you see the dealer and street signs and his mention of Chipotle. And most of all his profile.

Nick congrats on the car!!!
I followed your saga with Porsche as well, and had a nice chat with the Porsche reps at the NY auto show about it. Their responses are the reason I don't own my 991 turbo s yet. I've come to the conclusion that I need an f80 in my life, so I will be getting rid of my 335 soon for one, I can't wait! As for the Porsche, I think I'm going to hold out for a couple more years and move on the new z06 soon. Good lucK with the new car! |

Great review!!!
They ADDED the sunroof for you?! Wtf. I would have gone ballistic if it arrived like that!!! Thankfully you caught the mistake. Excited to hear your thoughts as time progresses, and glad your 991 debacle was resolved!

I've seen the chaos of your 911 and I was quite disappointed at Porsche for that. I'm glad you've decided to try something different, but I understood from the videos it was basically your dream car. In terms of actually getting in and experiencing the atmosphere, how would you compare the two? The M4 would sport more room, a different design around the dash/car, and also runs a straight 6 with twin turbos...a beast.
Plan on any upgrades/mods? if you do check out the F80/82 part of the forum and I'm sure the guys there will have plenty of advice/tutorials on DIY's. Enjoy your ultimate driving machine and hopefully it won't turn into a swimming pool lol! -Nick
