Do I need Brake pad service?

I have 44,000 on my Bmw f80 got it used I believe the pads were never replaced . I hear a loud screech every time I stop, I look at the pads they look to have a lot of life left but y such a screech!

I think they're just noisy by nature. I have M Sport brakes on my 435 and they are super squeaky.

How often do we need to replace the pads, and what can I do about this noise ? Sounds like the wear indicator making noise for some reason ? I am not to knowledgeable about these cars

All you have to do is go through I drive and select vehicle information and then select service needed. you can check how much life is left in your front and back pads. There's no guessing work

Rotors are measured for deviation and thickness. I'm not sure what minimum spec is in rotor thickness for our cars. If they're out of parallel and causing vibration they'll replace them under warranty
