Friend picking up his BMW ALPINA B4 in Dubai

Friend of mine wanted to get the BMW M4 but it would have taken too long to order in so he decided to go for the ALPINA B4. Considering there is meant to be only 1 in the whole of the UAE its quite a rare car.

Its an interesting car and has akrapovic exhaust system stock. The sound is a lot nicer than my stock m4.

What do you guys think.

Sweet ride! Wish we could get these in the states. Like everything but the side decals. Those need to go.

I think if the D3/4 Alpina's were available in the states they would take away some sales of the M3/4s. We get the 6 grand coupe Alpina and the traditional 7 series Alpina here that's about it. I'm sure there are other reasons we never see those models. Maybe they don't feel that there are enough buyers for that type of specialized model.

Thanks bro, yea I am kind of envious. The burbles it makes when he revs it are really nice.

I am probably going to get the m performance exhaust soon on my car, ill keep you updated.

Yea bro there were 3 M4s on display the 2018 models. 1 was the competition package and the other 2 were just normal.

I remember he had initially gone in to buy the M4 but they said there was no availability so maybe those cars were just showroom cars only for viewing.

The waiting time was 4 months or more to order, he was given this option as an alternative. Considering they are limited production and classed as a rarer car he decided to just go for that.

I would take the Alpina variant all day long. I wish we had them here in the states...This coming from a former Alpina B7 and current F80 M3 owner.

Its based on a 4 series then tuned by Alpina with exterior and interior changes.

They are also limited in production.

0-60 is faster than an m4 I believe.
