Smartphone connectivity and wifi hotspot

Hi guys

The smartphone connectivity package for $750 includes WiFi hotspot as well. I tested it today and surprisingly it's super fast! But who's paying for it lol? And anyone know how long of a subscription this is before I need to start paying or renew something?

You should've had to create an AT&T account before you could use the wifi. At least I had to. The subscription is good for 3 months before you have to start paying.

Hmm interesting. It simply told me to connect to the Bluetooth Internet hotspot. No account required.

Your dealer created the initial account for you, it's good for 3 months or 3gb which ever comes first.

I can't recall, you will have to contact BMW or hit up your dealer to get the renewal details.
