Here is availability info on the forged M Performance Wheels, coilover, shift knob and engine cover.

• Coilovers should be available by end of this year
• Forged M Performance Wheels should be available Summer 2017
• These wheels will be available for M3/M4 in 19x9 front / 20x10 rear with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires (265 front / 285 rear), or individually without tires. Port install will only be available as a package (with Cup 2 tires)
• These wheels will also be available for M3/M4 in 19x9 front / 19x10 rear, but without Cup 2 tires
• No pricing or weight specs yet for the M Performance Wheels, but they will be the lightest available from BMW
• Engine cover and new shift knob are targeted for Q1/Q2 2017. Engine cover will also work on the GTS
• New center console cover arm rest now available

Agree - shift knob doesn't look too good.

The engine cover is nice but I'd prefer without the M stripes.

The wheels? But probably comparable pricing to other well-known manufacturers. Hopefully by the time they are released, they can be specced into a new build.

I wonder if these are the same wheels pictured on the YMB M3/M4 test mule. They look very similar.

I like the wheels....but not over the FI-R's. Coilovers by the end of the year? I'll believe it when I see it, lol. Guess there not going to be the HAS that the other thread had mentioned. So, full coilover setup? That means it will be expensive...

No I think this "coilover" is the HAS that everyone is anticipating.

Those wheels should have come with the competition package for the M3/4.

Will the wheels be compatible with the M2?

They should be if they are the same widths and offsets as the 437M wheels, but with slightly narrower tires.

Wheels should be available for the M2 according to the following from the press release (below), unless it's a misprint:

World premiere: M Performance light alloy wheel.
One of the most significant innovations being presented by BMW at the 2016 SEMA Show is the new light alloy wheel displayed as a concept wheel on the BMW M3 (19-inch at the front, 20-inch at the rear). Derived directly from motor racing, the M Performance wheel, which is milled and weight-optimized entirely from a forged blank, contributes – compared with wheels fitted with standard tires – towards even better steering behavior, resulting in a further increase in driving dynamics. This is complemented by the exclusive styling of the wheel set, which is shown in Black matte and with “M Performance” lettering on the rim flange and matched with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires for maximum grip and performance. This new M Performance light alloy wheel is expected be available for M2, M3 and M4 in Summer 2017.

Cool, but skip the manual box, skip the rear spoiler, skip the decals. all else is cool. Wheels are very nice, I wonder if they are cheaper than the BBS F1-R/HRE. I would prefer a wider rear tire than a 285.

They made this car a boy racer - less appealing.

I like how the wheels can be purchased without the tires. As grippy as the PSC2's are, it's great that we can choose a daily driving option instead.

I wonder how the 19 inch front and 20 inch rear will impact the suspension in a stock vehicle? For example, a ZCP optioned car assumes less sidewall in the front and a non-ZCP car assumes more sidewall in the rear. Certainly this already occurs with a non-ZCP car that has a choice between 18s and 19s, but this wheel option creates a difference between front and rear in the same car versus more/less sidewall at both front and rear.

I know very little about suspension tuning, but I would think that this would have at least some impact on the handling and ride characteristics since the assumptions from the factory are no longer valid?
