My VIN still doesn't show up on the 2wglobal website. I am going to be furious if I find out that my car is not on this ship

Yup. And I confirmed with BMW genius. So I am hoping it's just a glitch in WW's system.

the best thing is to email the place that you dropped the car off. They should have detailed info. Not even BMW knows the exact ship, but the transit company does

I didn't do ED.

Hopefully I know for sure by Monday as the ship arrives at the port today.

According to the genius, my car is at the VPC with the work order to be finished by today. The estimated departure is Friday and should be in Portland by Monday the 12th.

Genius yesterday said my car would be loaded onto the truck on Friday and be ready for delivery on Saturday. However, my car was loaded onto the truck last night and delivered to the dealership before 9AM today.

Your car may arrive sooner than Monday. Keep checking with Genius to get the latest status. Or just punch your VIN into United Road tracking system to get the latest update.

My CA emailed me yesterday (Thursday, Sept 8th) to let me know that my car had finally cleared customs and was now at the VPC "for repairs."

My rear bumper got hit during our ED. I filed the claim with SixT at dropoff in Nice, and have been bird-dogging it with my CA to make sure it gets fixed at the VPC before delivery. I've read some recent threads by others that had damage during ED and it not getting fixed, then being told at redelivery that it's "too late." Hopefully, in a week or two when I get my car, she's back to new.

I had no idea so many cars came from the same boat. Ive been tracking mines since it left Germany. Anyways my build is a 2017 M3 ZCP YMB Black extended interior. I have about a week and a half to 2 weeks more wait for mines since its coming to Hawaii.

Delivery at BMW Seattle was awesome. Great Staff. First impressions from a 435i to a M4 is that the cars are worlds apart; which should be expected. 1190 miles to break in complete.

That's good to hear. Congratulations on the car. I am glad you had a good experience with BMW Seattle. Though, I have to say that when I approached them for my M4, the guy I talked to was a condescending douchebag and laughed at me for asking for a price below MSRP. I understand that they need to make money but driving customers away by making them feel like it's a sin to ask for a good price is a whole another level. #RantComplete.

I ended up working with David Pad from BMW Portland and ended up with a deal lower than invoice. Apart from the great deal, it's been great working with the guy.

Just checked with BMW Genius. My car is still at VPC scheduled for release in two days (Sep 21), then release to trucking, ETA at my dealership on Monday, Sep 26.

I knew the damage repair (bumper ding during ED) would add a week or so to my delivery, but it ended up adding about 2 weeks to the process. :-(

Oh well, at least I get a little more time with my beloved E60
