Winter is coming
Go figure that after I get my winter setup installed, we get a run of 60-65 degree weather...but it's the only time I had off from work and temps will be in the 40s and below within a week or two.
Anyways...always loved the OEM 437m black wheels so picked up a used set...figure if I'm going to be rocking winter wheels for ~4 months out of the year, I might as well like how they look. Running Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4s at 255/35 square. As you can tell from the pic below...there is obviously some stretch on the rear wheels but not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Rear wheel well also not as beefy obviously...unfortunately Michelin doesn't make the PA4s in 265/35 or 275/35. I know the recommendation is to go skinny in winter, but we don't get a ton of snow and on really hairy days this car won't be seeing deep snow anyways, so I wish I could have preserved some of the aesthetics but oh well. Anyone know if you could do a square 19x9 setup with the 437's? Then avoid the stretch of the rear and be able to rotate them?
And I thought after season 7 winter was here!
