Fall line motor sports oil cooler guard question

Anyone have it? Think it's worth it? I post this in the regional forum for good reason I think. Does the weight of the guard really matter?

Thanks,

I have it. Last go around with yaas f80 a possum jumped up in front and was essentially thrown into oil cooler area resulting in smashed plastic bits underneath and a bent oil cooler.

I decided with car to add some more protection up front and with the two choices available I decided to go with fall line.

The fall line screws into your parking stops is held in place very securely and will be able withstand hits to it without bending. Not to say small debris can't get in there.

For me it was worth the piece of mind even if it's not completely foolproof.

How many miles have you had it on and did you notice any additional stiffness in the chassis while installed? I'd have to imagine it stiffens the front end up a bit based on how rigid it is no?

On car for about 2500 miles now. Car only has 2700 miles on it now.

As far as stiffness I also have the MP HAS installed at same time. So the stiffness that I feel can be attributed to that.

But considering the fact where it is mounted (using the park stops) Im sure there is some additional stiffness or rigidity that is provided...

I'm also considering this but wish it was covered with some robust mesh/wiring to also guard against the smaller debris....

Just had the oil cooler guard installed my Matt bean over at Thompson performance group. I do not notice any additional front end stiffness and I hope to not ever need it but I feel more confident now driving with this protection since my car is freakin low.

With my lip I can just get the toe of my shoe under with maybe 1/6th more clearance. 2.5 inches low I'd say
