This is a pretty cool story....mine was the opposite!! When I brought my wife into our dealership to pick up her X5, I got pumped when I saw an f80 in the showroom, took her over to show it to her as I've been debating on whether to get another rwd drive car to go through CT winters.....she sits on it, I have coral red Dakota w SBM on my f30 335, and the f80 had sakhir, close enough.....she looks at me and says "how the hell is this car over 80k when it looks exactly like your car now and it's basically a dressed up 3 series!" Lol. I explained the motor, brakes, body work, etc.....nothing worked.
I will still eventually get an f80 as I've owned every iteration of m3 since e36 (obviously pre-wife). Have to put some work in!! Enjoy your f80! |

So you floored the car right off the showroom floor and then moved on to the other car? Lol. To each their own but this is exactly why I would never buy a car that's been test driven before. You may not care about the break-in period but that's a dealbreaker for some. Forget 1200 miles, you floored it before it hit 15 miles and most likely on a cold engine. Well done!
On a lighter note. Beautiful car!

always a better idea to put down as much as you can in my opinion. the bank makes less interest off you. and your less likely to blow money on mods seeing a smaller bank account (at least that's what I tell myself lol).
