Hey what size are your rims? I just installed FI-R satin black 19", went down from 20" CHR's for performance gains. But car is still in shop and I can't picture what my car will look like, and I'm anxious to know how good it'll look.
Also how much of a pain is the CS lip? Mine is lowered too, and I had the GTS lip which scraped EVERYWHERE badly. Debating on going through the trouble again. How bad is the CS lip hitting?

I have only hit & scrape my CS lip once thus far. That was my fault for not backing up into a parking space, and should have stopped but I honestly wasn't paying attention. GTS lip install and CS lip install are both the same. They, as far as I know, use the same bracket type to put on the car. GTS lip sticks out much further, hence the bottoming out but the reason why you get lips like this in the first place, has partially to do with protecting your bumper to some degree. It's better to scrape or hit a lip than it is to damage your bumper. Granted you are drilling holes but it's no real big deal. CS lip does not stick out as much unlike the GTS does, so you shouldn't hit or bottom out with it as much unless you are very, very low.

You can have a 255/30/20 (26.1" Overall Diameter) on a 20" wheel and still have a less clearance than a 19" 265/35/19 (26.3" Overall Diameter) Between those two tires that's a .2" difference which makes huge difference for road clearance. adeysworld depending on what tire size you opted for on your set up will determine your street/road clearance. Arcades is running a 265/35/19 which I used in the example which gives a good amount of meat on the wheel and helps add for more road clearance. Richy Rich has 265/30/19 R888R, which are 25.3". This makes the car sit much lower. Pics for comparison below: |

It has been a while since I had any updates huh?
Well here is a rather large one :P I just got my *baby* back from AutoTalent today after going through some major installs. This is actually the first time I have ever done any BBK type stuff and it is going to take me a bit getting used to, least with the BMWs. So here is the list of mods that went on! * Brembo GT BBK 380mm Front & Back w/ Type 3 Rotors (painted Grigio Medio matte) + TS20 Brake Pads * IND Red Start/Stop Button * OEM M3 Clubsport Rear Spoiler w/ CRT Strip (painted Grigio Medio) * Coding from Alex @ Alpine The brakes, if you paid any sort of attention in the past are indeed from a fellow Grigio Medio owner. In fact his car was on the front page before as well. Christian's Grigio Medio M4 from ACM on the East Coast. I'm glad to be the one to inherit the brakes. I am hoping to get used to it as soon as I can, all the while sorting out a few little things here and there. Once again thanks to Justin.AutoTalent and the guys from AutoTalent. I'm sure they will do what they can to sort out the little problems I described. Oh, also, thanks to Danny for staying until 9:30 PM apparently to get my Brembo installed. Are there anything else I plan on? Yes, but it isn't as major as what I put on.
