CarPlay Mic Vol Up & Down

I'm in calls and I need to turn the volume to max and it still could be a bit louder.

When i try to adjust the volume in the volume settings while in calls, it just reverts back? is this normal? video below...

The volume on my phone is turned all the way up and i'm using Apple CarPlay...

Why don't you just turn the volume knob while on the call screen?

It should give you a volume gauge and show you what level you are setting it without having to toggle through screens. The volume should stay at whatever you have it set during the call and stay at whatever level you end the call at for the next call.

This was during the call, at max knob level. I assumed these would turn it up more so that i wouldn't have to goto max on the knob. This doesnt seem the be the case.

I just dont get why these are here if they just revert back on adjustment?
