Why not change it up a bit? M3 to a m4? Your m4 is goin got depreciate like a rock once the new m comes out. I’d do a lightly used 911, gtr, jag type r, Alfa, z06, e63s used, all before another m3/4

With your budget i'd go with an E63 AMG or CTSV as a sedan and a 911 if you want a coupe. |

You can pick up a GT4 for under $100k without having to look hard at all. $90k shouldn't be tough to find either. I would also pick up the X5M out of the other options as well. |

OP, you're kinda all over the place (which is normal). You have to decide what you REALLY want in your next car and choose from that set of vehicles.
I went from a '15M3 to an individual '17M3. Looked at everything available, nothing else caught my eye. A '17 p-car came in second place, but ultimately I like going places with my kids too much to go that route.

That would be my vote too - although the OP's list is a good one.
One of my buddies has a GTR and loves it - but it's not my cup of tea. These decisions are so personal.

So funny you should ask. I'm very seriously considering giving up my 2017 M3 ZCP for an air cooled 993 Porsche.
I have other daily drivers. The new Porsches are just bloated appliances. They do nothing for me.... I would much rather keep the M. The older 993 is just awesome.... unlike ANY other car on the road. Old school hand built good stuff. No fake suspension wizardry, no electric power steering, no horrifying fake engine noise piped in through the stereo (my personal biggest gripe with the M3), no I-drive interface. Just raw, stripped down, refined sports car. Just open and close the door. It even SMELLS different.... leather with a hint of gas. Not a hint of practicality... but I'm already excited about the thought of it more than I have been my last 10 car purchases. |
