BMW Sydney refused to install aftermarket brake pads in my car. They said we only install genuine BMW parts.

Good choice the workshop manager suggested to fit mpe spring kit instead of kw l will see if he is still working there and if he is happy to do the work, all my work was done before handover of the new car purchase.

Do you have the parts, how old is your car and which dealer did you purchase from. Even though l had my mods fitted by a BMW dealer this does not mean that l am covered by BMW warranty, if something goes a mist with my suspension l know that l will not be covered as l had kw fitted. My contact did say to me DON'T open/unlock your ECU, do not change your air filter boxes, don't change downpipes whilst under warranty, Piggy backs are ok but not recommended.

I have neither the car nor the parts yet. Car is on a boat off west Africa. Weighing up cost/benefit and warranty threats!

Sydney are owned by BMW, so this is likely the reason.

I'd be speaking with Sylvania or [Stuart@BMRAutowerkes](contact:100924) anyway.
