JRZ RS Pro canister routing

For those with the JRZ RS Pro setup, could you post some pics of how you routed the hose for your canisters?

I'm about to pick up a set and would like to see how most people have done this.

Also - would you do the RS Pro again or the RS Two? Thinking of keeping it simple with the RS Two...

It's a bitch man....

Fronts go through the frame where the brake lines route, then along the engine bay to the headlight.

Rears routed into the rear fender liner area and mounted inside, I poked a hole through the plastic and adjust from below the car.

Thanks for the info. If you had to do it again, would you go with the Pro route or the RS Two?

Fronts are near brake lines and rears go through a plastic vent under the trunk panels on the outside edges. My shop just cut out a bit of the venting. I will snap a pic when I get a chance.

Pro's if you're into the adjustability. I like how easily accessible the canisters are for adjusting rebound -- crank it up for the track and dial it back down for the cruise home.

Thanks guys. I ordered the Pros yesterday. Should be here in a few weeks.

Any pics you guys can post up would be very helpful, both on line routing and securing the canisters.

I'm currently looking at these mounting brackets so see if they will work above the headlights - not sure if they are too big:

I don't think there's enough room for those mounts on top of the headlights. The cans alone barely fit.

. Make sure you order the Coilovers w/ enough hose for the rear external canister to put it anywhere in the trunk. Mine also looks this in the rear but if I had to do again. I would have liked it installed on the roof fixed point just below the speakers w/ aluminum billet clamps.

I did order with the quick disconnects in the rear to make routing a bit easier. Also asking about the longer hose length - waiting on JRZ to respond.

I'm still looking up brackets to mount the canisters with. Especially in the front. I can't seem to find any I think would be suitable. Seems like I'll end up building my own.

You should be able to find nice aluminum billet clamps in "4x4 truck shops." Also google it, I'm sure plenty will pop up. My friend was able to install it this way in his Porsche and it looked great. Hey, we're paying so much for these things, we should be able to show it off and not hide it under the mat. Just my 2 cents.

Clamps

My front external canisters were zip tite. I'm doubtful if you'll find claps small enough to make it fit.

Ok, so, I finally got everything installed and thought I’d post some pics for others.

Ultimately I didn’t like the above the headlight setup that most people seem to go with. It was just too close to the hood for me and I couldn’t get them mounted securely to the headlights. So, that was out.

I found a spot next to the radiators just inside the wheel wells. I raised the location of the horns and built a custom bracket to mount the reservoirs. Overall, I think it turned out great. I can get to the reservoirs by simply taking out two screws for the wheel wells - might make an access panel later.

Let me know what you guys think

Clean install - less prone to heat soak however one extra step to gain access. That's a fair trade-off

No, I didn’t. I called them about it but it was something like 48” long which seemed sufficient to me.

I thought about mounting them under the floor tray, but I would have had to drill large holes in the car to pass the hoses through. This way uses existing holes in the car.

I’m actuallly considering switching to the Ohlins TTX setup, which doesn’t have external reservoirs. It’s similar to what comes on the M4 GT4.

We’ll see.
