Maintenance cost after 4 years
What's the yearly maintenance costs like for an M3 after the first 4 years compared to 335i?

In the US buying new you're covered up to 36 months. I think they stopped covering brakes but odds are you won't wear them down unless you're tracking. So assuming 48k miles, spark plugs 1x out of coverage and tires 1-2x depending on driving habits.
Not sure about the 335 and it's spark plugs but the tires should wear better. You may be able to do the 48k on 1 set but will get dinged for worn tires when it's time to sell. Can't really think of anything else that would come up. |

Free maintenance is only 3 years now and doesn't cover brakes anymore. You can add 1 year and extra items such as brakes and clutch for like $1600. No way a set of tires will last 48k. More like 20k.

My MPSS lasted 30k and still had some tread left when I replaced. |
