Yeah agreed. Come on man, apples to oranges. Clearly the ZL1 1LE is a superior performance car in comparison, the numbers prove it. But the M4 (and even the M4 CS) is a more complete package, and that is coming from someone who owns a Camaro as well.

The ZL1 1le is all out pure race car that I would love to have for that, but the M4 is much more practical for daily use and all around driver car. It depends on what you want it for and what you can tolerate in terms of daily drivability. Like people are saying not a great comparison in terms of cars unless you give what you want it for. Racing only and track use? daily driver? weekend car?

the zl1 1le is an incredible value, but more of a track car that you can daily drive.
The m4 is a gt car, and more of an all around daily driver, for occasional performance driving events. If you don't track your car or have never been to the track.. I wouldn't consider it. You're better off with the regular Zl1 with automatic. You'll smoke M4s all day long. |

If you want pure power, the ZL1 1LE no question, just look at the numbers one doesn't even need to ask.
If you want a more upscale interior, better tech, a car with a dual personality which can be daily driven and at the click of a button turn into a high performance car, then the M3.

Do you wear gold chains with your chest hair showing? If so - Camaro all the way.
If not, then perhaps the ZCP M4 would be a good choice. Just kidding. Sort of.

Wanting that dual personality is key though, and I think many on here don't realize that about the M3/M4 and wonder why it's not "always on" (because it was DESIGNED not to be!!) |

Thank you for all the feedback..even from the haters with the negative responses. This may have not been a fair comparison. I was interested in both cars and just wanted some more opinions. Maybe the title should have been M4 Comp vs SS 1LE. Either way i think the thread will help someone else who is looking to buy either car.

Performance aside, which looks better?
M4 all the way even if it is slower. I just love the looks of the M4. But again, you cannot argue when it comes to personal preferences. |

....drive what drives you. We all like what we like. I, personally, don't care for the looks of the Camaro. But many do. I love the looks of the M4..... and the GT350 even more. I'm sure many do not.

Agreed, the M4 in my opinion looks more futuristic. Camaros look dated quick, and lets not get into the interior comparison, but hey some people don't care about that.

That's why both posts are funny - stereotypes exist on both sides.

I didn't think the SS was any harder to daily than my F80 (in fact easier since it had a back up camera and my F80 didnt) |

Manual trans not very smooth (tremec) Lower with a low splitter Limited visibility Louder (Some linings have been ditched like the trunk) Regular SS is more relaxed for daily driving |
