Love the black sapphire. That engine bay is an engineering feat, looking forward to getting one.

WOW i'm impressed at how good the car looks in black in these high res pictures. Could we get some info on the 3 console buttons "Serious" pointed out. And Jason, when you say pricing will be announced at a later time does that mean as in later today?

I really think all-black wheels would be better, regardless of the sheet metal color. I just don't care for that two-tone look. To me it makes the wheels look spindley and guady instead of muscular and sleek.

Looks really good! Although my opinion hasn't changed regarding the front bumper which, to me, looks as though it was damaged in an accident and is waiting to be repaired.

The black does look the Business for sure. Overall I have seen contrast stitching on dash, doors, and Seats for all the interiors I have seen which looks amazing. However in other M cars with SO there is no contrast stitching anywhere or at least that I have seen? Since SO is my interior choice with AW I sure hope I will see contrast stitching introduced for this model. The white stitching will work well and would be a disappointment if left out. Yes individual would provide but why should I have to pay for something everyone else gets standard Keeping my fingers crossed! :

+1 either I will have them painted or replace with another option.

I hope they have a cinnamon or saddle interior color. The E9x M3 always disappointed me with it's interior options. I don't understand why they offer that grey leather on M's, but don't offer the classy browns that some non-M cars get.

+1. Would really like a rich brown, but I doubt we'll see it at launch. Might have to go Individual.

After seeing the m4 in such darkness of contrast in BSM....I kind of want it more now. Damn me for purchasing a e92 m3 right now.

Does anybody have any thoughts about what other interior colors might go well with AY or is that color pretty much going to be restricted to black?

Much better in black,

Although some nicer wheels, painted reflectors, lip and diffuser will take it to a whole different level.

It definitely makes the E92 look old, but certainly not bad.

Beautiful car and black sapphire definitely adds some depth to the body lines of the car. My X5M is black sapphire and in the light it shows a lot of grey and even some greenish/copper flake. It's a nice color. Bitch to maintain.

This whole conversation about Audi interiors being the benchmark. This interior is just beautiful. The stitching, the CF and aluminum accents, it is all just so well put together in my opinion from the photos. And those seats!!!

For the price that this car will be posted at. It certainly as the looks and quality of a very expensive and luxurious vehicle.

Nice work BMW. I sit in my E90 M3 and feel a little sad.

can any explain all these console buttons?
1. Traction Control Disable
2. HUD???
3. Dynamic Damper Control Adjustment
4. Electric steering weight???
5. Front parking camera
6. Parking Assist

Traction control/DSC, throttle, suspension, steering, (unknown), and back-up camera/PDC. Maybe they separated the camera and the PDC buttons on the new ///M cars. On the F-Series it's all one button (..the last button in the row), but it looks like there is a separate camera button on the new ///M.
Might be the back camera or surround view

All of those are accomplished with one button on my F30, so that's what leads me to believe that they may have separated the functions.
