What happened to Melbourne Red? And San Marino Blue as it shows so well on an M6? Why do we not get Jerez Black or Carbon Black?

That yellow and YMB may be modern and all, but they are not sexy.

I still look at my E90 M3 in Melbourne Red just after cleaning and it is stunning.

The Silverstone M3 looks classy and the black M4 looks cool. And both are great in AW and MW... But that is hardly a color palette to choose from.
A better question is: what happened to imola red II? It's made for m-cars. Who the hell wants brown on a small performance vehicle?

It looks good on the X5 M50d, however not a big fan on the M4.

I'm feeling that last picture. Pretty sexy. Reminds me of the color MB did on the CLS

That's too funny.

I saw an old guy in a Tommy Bahama shirt driving a new Boxter the other day. The color was almost identical to the brown featured in this thread.

He was driving 30 in a 40 mph zone. In a new Porsche. It was saddening.

Nope, that is not sad, sorry. That's the way of life here in the Microsoft village. I swear I'm the only one speeding here, and it's a stretch to find a Porsche that has done more than 62mph. Actually, I think I'm the only one who isn't 62 here, by mental age at least.

As for the brown, if it's not strapped on a horse, forget it. That just adds at least 25 years to the meter, and as soon as I rule the universe, this option will be banned for all.
