M4 GTS available in China today @ 2M RMB or 310K USD (EXC. 8.5% "purchasing tax")
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com And Carbon Fiber Wheel is another 100K RMB on top of 2M. Thank you BMW for the generous offer. Dealer is asking 1M for deposit. Don't know who the 14 idiots will be (believe me, those in China who is willing to pay that much, are NOT BMW hardcore fans) but well people are like meh...lining up to watch this little freak. It's one of Ferrari's largest markets, and a ton of track monkeys there. I suspect it's far more than that in OZ. Comparing to US market isn't equivalent.
2016 7er tops out at 1.98M ($313k), so about par. Just sayin'

If the world economy keeps up, the simple facts that it's a very limited edition BMW and the fastest/most track oriented boy-racer will float the price to insane amounts - just wait and see. GT3RS was going for 400K in the early days before they increased production, and that was still a car with over 2000 slots available.

At least Chinese will drive these cars out on the road regularly instead of hiding them inside the garage collecting dust.

15 grand just for the wheel. I suspect owners will consider importing the wheels after purchasing the car. for those who are shocked about the price consider this; importing a foreign car is anywhere between 70 and 100% in taxes.

it's a matter of import fees. the government is making the difference not the dealer or manufacture. china must have a pretty barbaric "wall"...wait a minute
