Based on my research this is the part number for the retrofit harness needed for our cars and to my understanding we need the drip rails too! Please PM if you want to know where to find them. I actually ordered the Euro tails since I love the amber turn signals!

Anyone that already done the retrofit could tell us in which pin number from the REM we have to put the wire from the inner tail lights for the turn signal?

Attached are all the part numbers needed for the F83 including the drip rails, I'm assuming it's the same as the F82 but no guarantees. Based on my source all 6 parts you can see are needed for our cars. That's from realoem.com and can only be ordered from suppliers in Europe that ship to the U.S. I don't mind sharing where I ordered from but PM me for that. All I'll say is I paid less than $1,000 for everything I need including the retrofit wire and I already posted that part number

100% agree - the linear sharp lines of the originals to me blend with the art concept far better than these curvy updates - personal opinion but very happy I have the originals!

That harness is no use, it's for an f30. That's why you needed the custom harness that I was sending. BMW don't make one yet You don't need the gutter trims. The originals fit perfectly. Once these parts are ordered from Germany they are non returnable so very important to get it right first time. |

I appreciate the feedback, when I get them installed next week we will see.
I was hoping I didn't need the drip rails but based on a forum on bimmerpost and various sellers I spoke to they all said they're pretty confident I needed the drip rails, at least for my F83 and being they were only $20 and change a piece I rather be safe than sorry and they confirmed with me that if I get the wrong ambers they will exchange them for me. My advice to anyone buying these direct from Europe is make sure your seller understands what you want and they guaranteed me I'm getting the Euro ambers or they'll exchange also thankfully the part numbers I listed match the YouTube video from another buyer. With the harness for the lights F30 I was told they were sure that it would work and if not they'll refund me as well, worse comes to worse I'll have a local professional do it to be safe in case he needs to tweak a few things I'm feeling better though seeing various people get them installed on the forums with no part number issues. If my harness doesn't work I might PM you So guys I'm the guinea pig for the F83 in the states I'll keep you updated |
