No, if you've looked at the pictures, the US spec cars don't have a dual scale speedo. Like the M5.

Praise be the lord.

You can already see them. Take the announced starting prices, add the $950 (or whatever it is) desitination charge, then go to the post for military pricing and add in the options (options are not discounted for military pricing, just the base price). It may not be 100% accurate but should be 95%

You sure?? Thought it was more of the 1M gearbox from all of the interviews posted?

We're talking about the shift knob itself, not the transmission.

I thought the shift knob originally came from the E46 330i ZHP. It's the same knob I retrofitted on my M5. Illuminated and all.

Yep, I've got it on my E92 M3.

I think I will get it replaced with the carbon fiber /alcantara M-performance knob:

and add the matching e-brake too:

Austin Yellow, 6MT... Man.... if I start saving now, I could have enough to buy it outright when my lease is up 8/2015. I'll probably have to move into the car, but that's okay..

I went to my local military dealer today to inquire about ordering a M3, but they told me the MSRP on the sheets provided here were still estimates and that the US MSRP had changed again. Maybe they just didn't get the information, because I know other US-spec dealers here in Germany are taking order on them (Bavarian Motors).

Thanks for the pics, specially the interior ones! I have to say, I am not loving the carbon fiber. In photos it looks like some sort of refresh bug on my computer screen

I'd love to see pics of some other options.

Using a liquid cooling system with the air to water heat exchangers so close to the turbos and engine should be great for throttle response, the charge air won't have to go through an entire frount mount intercooler like it does on the N55.
excellent post. I will add that your bolded comment also applies to the n54 (this is probably implied, just clarifying for those who are unsure)
