The dealer inputed my order at 14.00 and had the receipt at 14.01 and as mine will be a a fully loaded F82,I hope to be one of the 15 getting the ED.Both my E92 M3's were loaded and that has worked out fine for me.

I don't know why anyone would pay $1500 extra for European Delivery when it is free (unless the $1500 covers the hotels and stuff).
But to be stuck in an itinerary would kinda suck. I did ED in that exact region last May and with a bit of research and a Nav system you can do the whole thing at your own pace. Not sure why they are taking people to Florence - the driving through that part of Italy is not spectacular. The rest of the trip looks awesome, it's likely that Munich to Salzburg will be along the German Alpine Road and the South Tyrol/Italy portion will likely include the Grossglockner (that's the picture they included at the end of the post). From South Tyrol to Como is a bit dull if you're on the Autostrada but if they're on the B roads all the way it'll include some great mountain driving, but it'll be super slow. The biggest issue, however, is that they are planning a ED for people with M3s and M4s and not taking them to the Nurburgring. If you're buying one of those models and doing ED and not taking it to the Ring, I question why you'd buy one of those in the first place... |

Most likely Monday. Depite my eagerness to see the cars, I prefer to avoid the weekend crowd. I more enclined towards the M4, but I am waiting to see them in the flesh before I make my final decision.

No trip to Nurburgring would seal my answer as a no if I were in Canada.
I bet it would be bad press if they did go to the Nurburgring and a few of those 15 cars crashed (since they say it will be hard to handle) |
