Texas Inspection questions
I will be registering my F80 in Texas and i have a question regarding the inspection.
Since i am throwing a CEL due to no secondary CAT, would i pass? Do they check for that? Sniff? EDIT. i have my secondary Cats.. but aftermarket DP's.

Just get your car tuned 1st, and it'll get rid of your CEL. I've had inspections done with test pipes in my previous car, and I don't recall any shops doing sniff tests. I think as long as your car doesn't exhibit a CEL and when they scan OBD2 with < 2 error codes they pass you. (e.g. Catalyst = not ready = 1 error due to suppression of sensor for no CEL light)
