Perfect thx - all comes flooding back now Really like the perforated leather choice - recall this custom build now - very unique.

Would probably go with black perforated for my setup - still considering and have a call in to Cat and the gang at IND on other options.

Thx again for sharing - I'm still fairly active here albeit traveling a lot as usual!

Just did mine today. This is good advice and look for the DIY online.

Tip: I took some pics w my phone of the wires BEFORE I disconnected anything. This way I had a reference for where stuff goes back in

Took about 45 minutes. Hardest part was the screw that feel down the seat thank God I found it ha ha

Question: is this leather on the wheel or plastic? I'm not diggin the feeling of it vs. the stock wheel. It isnt soft like the stock wheel.

Anyone has the "orange" trimmed V2 steering wheel from IND?

does it match the Sakir Orange interiors, or is it different?

Hey,

I believe it wouldn't be "Port" installed but it probably would be at the dealership,
prior to delivery. If you work it out so, ahead of time, with your CA.

Cheers!

I have a V2 for sale. Only used it for 2 weeks, decided to sell the car.

I'm super anal, wash my hands before I drive etc to keep it mint condition.

I did the DIY on it, took about 45 minutes. Faster and cheaper than paying somebody $150 to install a wheel.

You do lose the heating on the V2. But its so much nicer I was ok with that.

PM me if you are interested to buy mine. It has the blue strip at 12:00 btw.

I'll know on Thursday when I take delivery of my car. I had the M Performance Steering wheel installed at the port. I'm just not sure which version I'll end up with. In the Parts and Billing Guide it references the part number for the V2 wheel along with the replacement trim so it should be that wheel.

Got it port installed! There are 2 options for M Performance steering wheels. The V2 which is $1630 and the full alcantara wheel. I referenced the part numbers for the wheel and replacement trim piece in the comments of the port installed accessories. If you want this particular wheel installed at the port you may do the same to be sure

all M-Performance parts installed at the port will be added onto the build sheet... those parts would be residualized into the price.
