Hi Doctor,

What production date to use? Mine also 2015

Also for the fem module wire which needs extension, how many wires are within this wire? Is it just 1 wire?

Thanks
Cel

From inside the car is the right headfront light
Production date may 2017.
The wire extension was made by local bmw tech dealer. I remember more than one inside the envelope.
Write me in pm to have remote coding in order to activate them

Hi,
Yes, i did it.
Coding took only 5 min.
I spoke with the guy from bmwretrofit.it, he was very kind and agreed to code it remote but i found someone near me that made the coding.
Thanks for your support!

Can someone please share contact information for someone in Europe that sells all these parts? I know US dealers don't have them yet and I'm very impatient so I don't mind paying extra to order them now from overseas

OP, which was the first who made the retrofit, gave me contact details of a guy that might help you. You can find him on www.bmwretrofit.it

What happens with the auto light activation button on the BC stalk. Is that needed too?

Actually do you have adaptive led with variable distribution light?
If you do not have BC button that function will be not active but the headlights should work anyway.

I'm thinking about doing this to avoid getting the extra junk in the exec pack BMW is forcing you to buy by rolling in the full LEDs.

This would be unwise. The only time retrofitting something this complex would make sense is if wasn't available to you at the time you ordered or bought the car. Trying to save a few bucks or avoiding other options would probably cost you the same or more in the long run.

just curious has anyone in US had their LED's coded for antidazzle?

Dr1973, is antidazzle what you mean when you say variable distribution?

I believe it's listed as "decoded" on the build sheet.

Yes,
that's correct.
In Europe is already default with led headlights.

Hi,
First of all you need to change the windscreen because you need kafas2.
This is in case you need adaptive led.
Otherwise is no needed.
A mechanic with good skills is fundamental for wiring .
Then you have to flash Fler and Fler modules.

Hmmm... the halos still look too rounded for my taste. Dont get me wrong, it looks nice but its not enough for me to spend the money for a swap. I honestly prefer the aesthetics of OSS or BavGruppe haxagon lights for some reason. Those are more aggressive. So i decided to get those instead... no need to worry about coding:

From a distance the new DRL's make the car look like an Audi or Ford Fusion. I like the old ones better.

Hey Doc,

I have 15 M4 and love the setup! Do you know if there is a difference between euro lci full adaptive headlights and US spec lci full adaptive? If so where could I find Euro spec ones? The amber turn signal is awesome! I also would like the euro lci tails to finish the look. If any one had any suggestions on where I can source these items, it would greatly appreciated!
