Production weeks 37-39

I am at my wits end with this build week BS.... First I was week 39, then awesome I am moved to week 37... nope sorry now your week 38. Oh crap, nope this week you are week 40.

WTF is going on?

The website says in production and the 800# says in production w/ end date of 9/20 and yes I have a CF roof... I have ED scheduled for 10/6

I was week 39 but got bumped up and started production last week. Completion date is 9/19. I have the CF Roof so I'm hoping mine doesn't drop out of production.

I'm hoping that once it enters production, all the parts have already been lined up and are ready for the build.

my individual AB is up for production week 39, delivery week 42... i am praying to the cargods that it doesn't get delayed

my M4 finished production on Friday, 12th of September. With carbon fibre roof and individual painting.

I just spoke to BMW NA regarding my week 39 production M4 -
Said confirmed for daily production pack as of 9/1 and currently status 112 with a confirmed production week of "week 39". This was supposed to be a week 26 build but was delayed due to CCBs. Concerned with reading this thread that its not confirmed for week 39 until its ACTUALLY IN PRODUCTION. Car ordered on 3/2/14 so hoping any part shortages would be independent for this build since it was delayed once already and was ordered over 6mos ago!

Sweet - glad I've got someone to share my anxiety with fingers crossed production starts for us next week - are you doing PCD???

Funny that I think I need to refer as my official order date in march as "conception" since delivery should be about 9mos after

Just realized you have an M3 vs M4 - I think we are built at different factories? or am I mistaken?

I have no clue honestly. But maybe we can be boat buddies. Both going to East Coast. Not sure if mine will come directly into Brunswick, GA (in Atlanta) or go to the Carolinas first.

How do you get that kind of detail? I know my car is 'in production' but the 800 lady didnt seem to have anymore info than that.

Seems like a few week 39 here I was originally estimated week 38 by the dealer then I was estimated week 36 by bmw of NA then slipped down to week 39 confirmed and yesterday morning I called bmw of na and got the word that car went into production with a estimated finsh date of this friday the 26 now what im really hoping is that my car is able to make the ship the leaves on the 30th to nyc

Calling the 800 number... I think if it only says 'In Production' you are still only in 150 Production Started.

If I call right now it will tell me "Your vehicle has entered the Body Shop..."

I just called and spoke with an agent. Car has entered paint shop today with production completion of Wednesday still. The automated stuff always seems to be 24-48hrs behind.

So I guess I'm leaving 151 into 152 right now.

BTW p1 scheduled CF roof guys have hope. My car has all the 'delayed' items. CF roof, black wheels, and full SO.

Called 800 number and they said my 'Week 39' car had finished production and was en route to the boat! Woo Hoo

Anyone else's car just finished? I think there's a boat leaving Oct 4th if I'm not mistaken. Can anyone help confirm this? Thx
