Went from Order Documented to Production Begins today

Looks like my F80 M3 order may have gone to status 150 today

, or this week some time. I've never called the 1-800 number, just checked the build status on BMW USA website (which my dealership said may not be super up to date).

I see "Shadowline exterior trim" listed which I'm assuming is just the stock normal black surround on the windows?

I ordered it exactly a week ago on Thursday. Here's an image I got after ordering it with some week #'s that I didn't totally understand.

I'm looking forward to "updates coming fast now".

You ordered ask ago and already went into production? Wtf is up with BMW. I ordered first week of August and still not in production. Congrats though. I'm extremely jealous!

Chances are it was an already ordered car and they changed the packages before it went 150. The date that really matters is when it was accepted at AG which is shown in a different section of the page.

My order was accepted by AG 2nd week of August. Went to production pack 9/22 though. So hopefully it'll be in production soon. Current scheduled for week 42

If you think waiting for production is bad the worst is still to come lol. My car has been chillin at port for 10 days with no boat. I'm not sure what kind of lottery from hell they use for selection but doh! lol

Mine was in production two days (on a Sunday even, if that matters) after dropping a deposit.

The day I ordered the car, it was status 112. My CA (what the helk does CA stand for? Sales Asssociate SA?) said he got the dealership's last available 112 and I'm assuming then modified the order to match my car. I'm still waiting to hear back from him with a more detailed status report. Maybe I might have to call the 1-800 today.

I think quality inspection needs to take place then transportation to Port Bremerhaven (about 500 miles from Factory in Regensburg).

Not sure how long this usually takes.
