Anybody else waiting to catch a boat?

For those of you waiting for a boat now (early oct), it's unlikely that you'll take delivery of the car this month. That said, have any of you done anything about the innovation credit that expires at the end of October? I've read that it can be "locked in" even if you take delivery in November but since I can't get my CA on the phone, I can't get confirmation that this is indeed the case.

Or maybe November will being a better incentive

I'm hoping to get on the Columbia HWY that leaves today. Scheduled to make it to Brunswick on Oct 23.

You have to pretty much lock in your deal to secure the credit. Once you do it's locked in for 60 days. If it gets better you can use the better one next month.

Not getting delivery til Nov could be a good thing. I would suspect there is a chance holiday incentives could start. Knowing my luck I'll sign on Oct. 28 and they will do a $1500 holiday incentive on Nov. 1.

You're getting my hopes up... what makes you think you're getting on the Columbia Hwy? Did your status change from 181?

I just checked the shipping schedule and it seems that Columbia HWY doesn't make a stop in NY. There are two vessels that do stop in NY scheduled to leave on 10/14. One has an 11 day transit time and the other has 14. If my luck turns and I'm finally able to get on a boat, I'm betting I'll get on the snail vessel.

Same status for ours as welll...I bet the dealer can tell what boat it is slated get on?

Haha maybe. Would be good for you but I'm really expecting to be on a boat this week.

Hell according to BMW my car left BMW on the 24th and never made it to the port.. lol.. Maybe my car got stolen Fast and the Furious style...
