Lucky dog! I pushed my ED back by 4 days, so my best friend can make the trip. The entire time I was thinking "this may make me miss a boat".

its probably mine an OP's boat; we're scheduled to doc in Baltimore on the 27th. Call BMWNA @ 1-800-831-1117 and speak to a rep, ask them what boat you're on.

I will be coming out of Brunswick as well, my car is going to be shipped down to Miami. Are you tracking the boat? I went to marinetraffic.com and have been looking, but the last updated location was sent on the 20th...

My M235i is also on Oregon Highway. The North Atlantic is a blackout area for Marine Traffic, the site has coverage areas mostly on coastlines so we'll see it again once it's 100 miles or so off of the coast. If the ship is following a more northerly route we might see it later today or tomorrow south of Newfoundland.

It will be fun tracking it. Although now that I have a boat, its the first page I check in the morning and probably 4-6 times through the day.
You are in SC so that's a nice advantage. I dropped my car off in Paris September 30th. Where/when did you drop off yours?

Im in the exporting business and just got this from my freight forwarder. She's been in the business for 15 years so I assume she knows what she's talking about. Obv kidding about the captain part....
Considering it moored at 9:15am yesterday, I bet that vessel will be out today. She is a Ro-Ro vessel which does not usually take longer than one full day to unload an re-load. With the weather being good, it is possible she makes up a day on the water. With this said, I bet you are going to use that calculator on the vessel speed and make your own determination on when you think she should be here. At least you know they will not be able to give you any stories for delays. What is going to be more nailbitting is arrival/customs clearance and the time it takes them to load on truck to bring to Houston. I bet this will be pre-cleared with customs before arrival and immediately discharged into their possession. I will put in my request to Wilhelmsen to talk to the captain on our behalf. Tell him to move his ass !
