I adjusted for inflation...a vehicle purchased in 2011 for $55,400 before destination charges would now cost just at $58k. Either way not a bad adjustment.

Also keep in mind like I said in my earlier post, BMW made up for a lot of the increased by increasing the amount of standard equipment.

I would wait for the LCI to come out and just do a 6MT, and a ZCP package like I did my E92 cars. I would skip the ceramic brakes, even alot of the PCar guys switch out to the steel brakes when tracking because if you destroy a rotor it costs a arm and a leg to replace. In fact with the options I chose I don't think the M4 would cost much more than my current 2013 ZCP car right now, which stickered right at $70k.

LOL. BMW read our comments about price being lower than expected. So they made adjustment accordingly :P

I think where the real price increase will come is when the inevitable competition package arrives -- no doubt, the ceramic brakes will be "mandatory" as part of the package, like the M5, making it something like $5-$8k package rather than the $2500 or so with the e9x m3. Plus whatever other tweaks they add.

More than $6k or about 10% increase. Rather hefty but expected. I stick to me estimate that the average build will be around $75k for these.
2011 M3 Sedan $55,900
Adjust for std. Nav $2,150
Adjust for 2014 MY $3,950
Starting base price $62,000

Not terrible considering it also comes with CFRP roof.

I'll be happy when one of then board sponsors give me the green light on ED in July or August.

All I want is the base plus 19" wheels

Accept I think the msrp was 55,875 in 2007 and 55,400 in 2011 so the MY 2014 adjustment seems inflated. Maybe someone with a 2008 sedan know exactly what the msrp was? I just found this as reference.

62k for the M3 is a great price

A similarly optioned 335 can be in the high 50s

These prices do not include the $925 destination/handling currently (always subject to change).

Added (in response to a member's question): Manual transmission is standard and included in base price. DCT will be add-on option.

This represents a not insignificant increase in base price for the M3 compared to the predecessor E90 M3, but keep in mind that it now comes equipped with a carbon fiber roof and factor in inflation since the last M3 sedan.

Add 15-20k and you have the CDN price :-(

What did they say about the 2008 msrp for the E90 M3? All cars don't inflate the same.
